Who are we
The Sunshine Coast Jet Sports Club (SCJSC) is a non-profit organisation run by Jetski enthusiasts and endorsed by the greater SunshineCoast community.
The SCJSC aims to promote safe and courteous riding through public education and leading by example. Through educating riders on safe and courteous behaviour we strive to create a better public image of Jetskis in the community and protect our right to ride.
The SCJSC was founded in June 2008 and prides itself on being a positive influence on Jetskiers on the SunshineCoast. Through fundraising for Prostate Cancer and social rides for its 130 + members, the SCJSC is growing into a recognised community group that has hosted several races including the upcoming June 2011 Surf Slam that will be the largest jetski event EVER held in Australia.
Jetski riding is an excellent form of exercise, it builds confidence and teaches safe water practises. As with any water activity, there is an element of danger, the SCJSC riders are avid promoters of safety, conversation and community and are continually looking for new and effective ways to promote the sport and raise public awareness.
